EVERY DAY
01 / THE SYSTEM
Speak. Notice what broke.
Drill it. Speak again.
- Speak. 10 to 15 minutes of role play out loud with ChatGPT in voice mode. A shop, a call, a story about your day.
- Notice what broke. Whatever you could not say is today's drill.
- Drill it. Five minutes on that one thing.
- Listen. NOS news, or NOS Jeugdjournaal if the news is too fast.
- Read. A few pages of a Dutch book at your level.
- Watch. Something on Netflix in Dutch, Dutch subtitles on.
- Use it. Three real conversations in Dutch a week: a shop, a cafe, a neighbor.
- Write. One paragraph in a paper journal, then have ChatGPT correct it.
20-minute minimum: 15 minutes speaking, 5 minutes repairing what broke.
60-minute target: 30 minutes speaking, role play and drills. 15 minutes listening. 15 minutes reading or Dutch TV.
The full routine, on the days you have it: about an hour of speaking and drills, then listening, reading, Dutch TV, and real-world Dutch whenever you can.
Thirty hours in thirty days is the goal. Hours, not points.
WHAT WE TRACK
Two numbers.
Your hours, and your speaking.
Each night you post a short voice note in Dutch in the group, thirty to sixty seconds on what you did today, with your minutes as the caption. A day counts when the note is there. A day counts from 20 minutes.
On day zero you record two minutes of yourself answering one prompt in Dutch. On day thirty you record the same prompt again. You keep both. Nobody promises you a level. You hear the difference yourself.
If you go quiet for two days, Siraj messages you himself, not a bot.

People you’ll
actually meet.
A small cohort plus Siraj in a WhatsApp group every day and in person once a week. Every Friday, put your Dutch to work with the group.
Between meetups, take on three real-world missions: order in Dutch, start a neighbor chat, ask a question without switching to English.
Fridays at 11am, at a coworking space next to Amsterdam Centraal, exact venue sent with your seat.

“I made Dutch
part of my day.
Every day.”
I'm Siraj. American, in Amsterdam. I'd studied Dutch on and off before.
In July 2026 I got serious about daily immersion: about 120 hours over roughly 90 days, at least an hour a day, and I now rate myself at B1 against the CEFR description. That is my own estimate, no exam, no certificate.
I'm not a Dutch teacher and I don't give grammar lectures. The system spots what keeps breaking in your Dutch and turns it into targeted drills.
I built the routine, it worked on me, and I'll run it with you every day for 30 days. If you want proof before you pay, message me in Dutch.
04 / A COMMITMENT TO YOURSELF
Put €100 behind
“this time I will.”
Show up for 27 of 30 days. Get your €100 commitment deposit back. Three missed days won’t undo your month.
Deposits that are not earned back go to Stichting Lezen en Schrijven, the Dutch literacy foundation, not to Siraj.
